How to choose the best photographer for your wedding
Ask questions! How many years of experience does the photographer have? Is professional equipment used? How about back-up equipment? How much time is needed for formal poses? How many photographers are scheduled? How does the program work and how long will it take to receive the final albums? What is expected of you regarding the album layout and planning? Most photographers will show you nice portraits, but a successful wedding program requires much more than photographic talent. The ability to create quality images under the pressure of the event requires experience, top equipment (including back-up equipment) and a sense of professionalism you know when you see it. The customer service support during the planning and reorder stages is equally important. When you call during business hours, do you receive personal assistance or an answering machine? We pride ourselves on the positive feedback we receive from our customers regarding the friendly assistance our staff provides.
All wedding programs are not alike! Traditional programs that present the bride with a proof book weeks after the wedding, requiring the bride to figure out the layout of the album, and conduct a time consuming survey of the family before her album can finally be created. This process typically takes many months to complete, and results in much work and frustration for the bride. While we will still do this type of program upon request, we have not had one person choose this over our new program!
Knox Studios program is quite different! We are a team of seven photographers and studio staff that work together in our commercial studio (not out of our home) to serve you. We have been in business for twenty years! Some of our competitors work alone. While this can be fine if everything goes smoothly, what happens if they were ill or had some unforeseen problem on your wedding day? We give you the peace of mind that we have the back-up and the full time staff to provide the customer service you expect.
Our professional staff places emphasis on communication, experience and back-up. We discuss our system with you and carefully note any particular requests you might have regarding your wedding portraits. Every aspect of your wedding program is noted in writing with a copy given to you! We provide two photographers to create the images at your wedding using several different cameras. Back-up images are taken of all of the main poses for your peace of mind. Many photojournalistic images are taken to capture the emotion of the day. You will find our photographers both discreet and helpful, making your special day flow the way it should, without undue distractions. Our designers get to work immediately creating the layouts for your album. We recommend the new custom layouts available in our top packages for the greatest creative impact. All layouts in the album are suggested by our experience, but can be changed by the bride prior to printing. Brides will see all of the portraits from the wedding and can make changes in the layout of the book.
All of the old hassles surrounding wedding photography have been eliminated...we do all of the work for you! The end result is that Knox Studios' brides are enjoying their albums while other brides have just begun a long, confusing task. We take the hassle out of reorders too!All of our packages come with a web page including all of the photographs taken at your wedding in a pleasing multimedia show! Each portrait is numbered and reorder information is included, so the bride no longer has to collect orders from everyone!
